Seriously, how could the camera men just sit there and continue filming? The kid got in trouble for 'playing' in class... dude is a fucking kid. Give him detention. Just sad hearing him all horrified.

But the tabasco sauce is really not that shocking.

When I was a kid, I had a lot of tabasco sauce shoved down my throat, whenever I did something stupid, got into trouble in school or flat out lied about something.

Advanced method of torcher (what is the right spelling?), in my days when I caused trouble I would just get slapped.

I like how the first thing Philly says is we didn't film it, lol.

I find kids considerably annoying therefore I maintain my distance from them.

They can be extremely annoying, noisy & destructive and when corrective action is taken dramatic music can be applied and make the parents look like monsters, as a psychologist I am well aware of the effects punishment can have on the development of personality and the damage it can cause on self esteem.

Given the current situation the child has obviously gone through the drill several times, and this particular method of behavior management is obviously not working.

I would've liked more details.

Force the kid to go to after school detention. Most schools have these, they suck. They also help kids with homework. Double win for the mother and you don't have to torture him... unless this is what you like.

Just because it was a things kids do should not mean anything, he should respect what his mother wants, even if it is silly.

Some kids like detention anyways. I heard of ones that give out snacks even.

I also used to get butt spankings.

The cold shower is just mean. But kids do need discipline. Just don't yell at your kids, that's awful and scarring.

You actually really don't start to learn anything in American public schools until High School from my personal experience, High School is when you start getting into real math and science and what not. Elementary? They spend five years teaching you addition, subtraction and mult. and divis., FIVE YEARS.

Also, not sure how old this kid is, but I personally feel he's starting to get too old to be seen naked by his mother. Which just adds to the pile of the fucked up situation. Finally, I never got squat put in my mouth for lying, I got grounded. A much more reasonable punishment.
