I gotta ask, what is that one movie that it's critically panned, it's so bad, yet you find something fascinating about it. What would that be?
Here's a good ice breaker:

It's insulting, it's full of highschool stereotypes, there's a lot of crude humor and deep down, many actors much be personally ashamed to have been a part of this movie. Yet, it is so much better and funnier than anything that's been done by Friedberg and Seltzer's "spoof" films.
This spoof was also right into the zeitgeist of 2001, because it was in a time when even teenagers where getting exausted by the constant barrage of high school dramadies.

Best video game movie ever.

Not Another Teen Movie gets a lot of flack because people mistake it for those Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg comedies, when in fact it written and directed by a team of MTV Move Awards and MTV television show guys. Basically the perfect team to create a mock teen movie due to the high quality MTV Movie Awards parodies and the shallowness of MTV programming. I like Not Another Teen Movie, definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
Also, Freddy Got Fingered. Yes, it is a bad movie, but for me it is just so bad it's good. I love the restaurant scene: "You're fired! You're fucking fired, Bob! Clean out your locker at the club, Bob. You're fucking fired! I don't fucking care what he told you, OK? I'm talking about 40 million fucking Deutschmark here, Bob. 40 million fucking Deutschmark! I told you to wire the money to Geneva last week. I say Geneva, you hear Helsinki, huh?! 40 million fucking Deutschmark, Bob!"
And the chicken sandwich scene: "I'm a 28-year-old man, I should be able to eat a chicken sandwich if I want."
And the cheese factory scene... man! I want to watch the whole movie right now!

Mortal Kombat (the 1st one) actually got pretty decent reviews for a video game adaptation. Some big-name critics (like Gene Siskel) actually liked it, which was considered shocking at the time for a video game adaptation.
Anyway I'd have to go with Resident Evil Apocalypse:

Now, keep in mind that I really liked all 3 Resident Evil movies (the 4th one though I thought was pretty bad, and not in a good way) but many people I talk to didn't. Even fans of the movies often say that the 2nd one, Apocalypse, is by far the dumbest one, (Even Milla Jovovich called it her least favorite in the series) but I dunno....I really enjoyed it and still watch it. I know it's not some giant artistic statement or anything but I thought it did a great job at what it set out to do.

The laser scene in the first RE flick was awesome.

Yeah the first RE movie was great. I really liked its whole gritty and "low-budget" feel.

I have a soft spot for weather related films. or at least i used to. I haven't seen either one of these in a long time. but i remember liking them. I just know they aren't both critically acclaimed or anything xP

Speaking of Bill Paxton...

Another one of my personal guilty pleasures. It's a Predator in LA(in 1997!), it's got Danny Glover, Bill Paxton and... pum pum pum... Gary Busey.

Hot Rod: The Lonely Island crew getting paid enough money to make a feature length inside joke. His angry dance ode to Footloose was pretty great.
Knight and Day: I'm really not sure why this movie did so poorly at the box office. Even if you don't like Tom Cruise at all, he's really good in this one. Great action, and pretty funny to boot.

Twister is considered bad? Hmm... I remember liking that movie when we watched in school.

Critic's opinions mean little to me, but I would probably have to go with some of M. Night Shyamalan later movies (excluding The Last Airbender and The Happening, I didn't think those were as great.) I love The Village, the story, music and visuals of that movie are so captivating to me. I also enjoyed Lady in the Water. It may be a bit silly, but I love Paul Giamatti.
Signs is also one of my favorite movies of all time but that did have more critical praise.

One of my first guilty pleasures...
The first movie was perhaps the best one of that first trilogy, but I kinda enjoyed the second film a little more.
It had a bigger focus on comedy and it was less dark. One of the highlights was the Vanilla Ice improv complete with a full fight scene. Sweet!

TMNT2 is not a guilty pleasure of mine. I actually treat it like an honest-to-god good movie. lol
The pizza in the intro looked so damn delicious, and when I was little I thought Keno was badass. I mean, the dude flirted with ladies, (probably) got free pizza all the time, knew karate and hung out with the turtles. Plus, he could defend himself. He wasn't a pussy like Danny from the first film. Tokka and Rahzar were a pretty good tradeoff for Bebop and Rocksteady. I still say "Babies! They're... BABIES!" whenever I see a baby animal. And yes, the vanilla ice scene is great.
Why not let the Iceman tell us more about this great scene?

"Which one is the ugly one!?" and "Didn't we see these guys at Wrestlemania?" rank as some of my all time favorite movie quotes.

Donatello: The perimeter's quiet.
Leonardo: Yeah, a little too quiet.
[Donatello knocks two Foot soldiers out]
Donatello: Well, that was easy!
Leonardo: Yeah, a little too easy.
Donatello: Look! It's Raph!
Michaelangelo: Yeah, a little too Raph.

Love it :D.
The Gamespy Debriefings did a commentary podcast to accompany the movie after they referenced it so much.

Mikey: Wax on. Wax off.
Raph: Mouth off.

I know you guys are gonna hate me for this, but I had a lot of fun watching this movie.
But all the flaws that many have pointed out, it's true, right down to the cheesy story.
I mean, a guy who spents billions of dollars for an actual tournament for the purpose of creating some silly glasses that you can get on any supermarket chain store?
It's beyond silly. But the beauty is that it's actually a fairly decent adaptation given the game's source material which is next to none. Perhaps one of the movie's saving graces is that unlike the DOA girls in the video game, which are basically the same character model made out of porcelain, at least you can tell them apart(even though, 95% of their dialogue is beyond atrocious).
Bad, but "good" bad.
