EA weren't always as crappy as they are today. Back in the early to mid 90's, they made some really great games (and they're cartridges had that interesting design with that yellow thing with their logo embedded on it LOL!). Although not all of them were *cough Dark Castle and Sword of Sodan cough*, many of them were excellent. There's of course Road Rash 1, 2 and 3, their many sports titles (PGA Tour Golf FTW!), and there's also
F-22 Interceptor
General Chaos
Haunting Starring Polterguy
Crue Ball
Desert Strike
Urban Strike
and a version of Wing Commander for Sega CD developed by Game Arts.

I just remember their crazy carts:

When I was younger, I thought they were more powerful than standard carts. At least, until I played James Pond... :P

I actually avoided EA until this current generation. Mirror's Edge, Brutal Legend, Burnout: Paradise, Shadows of the Damed.....
They've been publishing some pretty compelling games. I haven't even gotten around to playing any of the Bioware stuff.

EA aren't even being close to be crappy today at all. Silly points like that, spoil what could have been a decent thread.

God, EA sports games on the Megadrive are what hooked me up for sports games for LIFE.
NBA Live with it's wicked foul scoring system.
NHL 96 with all the speed and fighting.
FIFA 97 Gold was absolutely phenomenal.
And of course ROAD RASH. Shit was so cash. The second one is my favorite.
