Sega's Yakuza Studio is getting set to announce a new project. A newly opened teaser site promises a worldwide simultaneous reveal for the game in four days.

The page, which has "Project-A" in the URL, credits the game's original idea and overall production to Toshihiro Nagoshi himself. That's Nagoshi's face in the background.

they are working on Kurohyo 2 and they already announced Y5 with a lot of details also this is a world-wide announcement .... i am expecting something totally new.

but seriously the team is working hard as of late.. Binary Domain, Kurohyo 2, Yakuza 5 and now this!

Of course! It all makes sense! With Armour of God 3 releasing next year and that completing another trilogy for Jackie Chan, this game will complete his fourth trailer!

On a serious note, looks like Nagoshi's team is about to become the premier console developer for SEGA if this is another worldwide announcement, although a part of me hopes this is Yakuza 5 and SEGA will push that as a worldwide series again, but I doubt it. Exciting times though, just hope Binary Domain and this new IP pays off for the team.

If only . Only SEGA could have made a really good JC game. Nice to see another new IP coming, lets hope its powered by some new tech too

Well KUROHYO is big enough to get its own television show(live action) as well as being released in the usual release period where the main games come out, so i wouldn't say it wasn't a big project...PSP wise.

As much as i think nagoshi deserves to be in this position,its too bad Sega has now been reduced to the sonic/Yakuza/Nagoshi show of late.

Hence why I said 'if Only' and 'could have'. It's a shame Yu Suzuki and AM#2 never made a Jackie Chan game, only them could have pulled it off

At least they're stepping up to the plate and AM#2/AM#3 are still class (or what ever names they go by). God knows what the rest of the teams are up too :(

Realeasing mobile and arcade games many here can't or won't play.

I got the "glowing red dots/eyes a few days ago when I checked, now I get this:

Looks like a robot, probably something related to Binary Domain?

also i remember when someone at the team said "we have no plans for a sequel"
yeah the shadow seems like a robot (not 100% sure) but it could be just another game involving robots.

Personally I hope it isnt another 3rd person shooter, but I see them doing one... trying to crank another game out on the Binary Domain engine before it looks to dated.

i noticed that lol, on their portraits they all look like members of the Yakuza. I guess Nagoshi has strict style standards for his development team.
