Title: Crush 3D Demo available on eshop store: Impression thread
Post by: CrazyT on February 15, 2012, 12:33:29 pm
So I went through the demo real quick, and I had quite a bit of fun.

I never played the psp game so I have nothing to compare it with, but I personally love the change from the dark visuals to the more bright and... more accesable? looks. Well it makes sense for the 3DS platform so i'll leave the judging to those who played the original.

Gameplay wise I think not much may have changed, but being new to the game I am really loving the idea of this game. The demo has only a view levels and is rather short, but it allready sold me to buy this game eventually while before I had no idea what was so apealing about the game.

Even in the demo there are tons of unlockables you get from completing a stage. Goes from artworks to costumes. I always like some costumization features so this is a good reward system

SEGA has really made a good move in bringing out this demo among the very view demo's on the eshop. Crush was I think a very obsecure title so this may draw some more attention to it, especially since it's 1 of the 3 only demo's in the shop

Anyway, share your thoughtsK

How is it that Sega Europe's giving you guys these demos and we haven't gotten them over here? Such a bummer, Sega of America's missing a great opportunity to get these games' name out there. There are so few demos right now that people will probably download any new one released.

Glad you liked it, I'm interested in trying it myself.

I didn't know about that. It's strange indeed. I do know that we never got mario and sonic @ the olympics. We have only 3 demo's ourselves which are Cooking mama, RE: revelations and crush 3D. :-\

They've been doing that all the time recently. Its to do with which market they feel the title may sell best or in some cases more help.

To date we in NA have only gotten Resident Evil Revelations and Mario and Sonic, and we have Metal Gear Solid 3 coming this week.

Nothing else from Sega.

When is SEGA going to release the Rhythm Thief demo in Europe? They better bring it to America.

Apparently they just don't want people in North America to buy their games....

Oh boy at how divided people are about Snake Eater 3D. I really wish we got some reviews for it soon or at least details about what the final product is like compared to the demo. Peace Walker all over again?

I doubt SEGA has unilateral control of when their demo goes up. Nintendo probably controls the flow, and they've been keeping it to one title a week.

I thought the game looked pretty ugly.

It is on a nintendo system. ;)

Think they wanted it to look more "cute".

Lol well it is not "that" bad. The artstyle is still very original allthough probably alot less dark, looking at the psp game

Played a demo at Best Buy, while visuals were so-so, the 3D was great (and made sense) and the gameplay was solid.

hmm

I think TA is on about mood. The game's presentation and style sets the atmosphere to what is one of the few challenging games you will get from Sega's PSP selection.

It's only a demo and I only have a handful of games for my 3DS but this game looks terrible - in almost everyway worst than the PSP version and worst still the 3D isn't great at all.
