Title: Which version of Max Anarchy (Anarchy Reigns) will you import?

Max Anarchy / Anarchy Reigns

Ok, so we all know the terrible, terrible news. Sega has announced that they are considering a 2013 Q1 western release for this game.

I've already scoured the Platinum Games forums to get a feel for what people are going to do about the situation, but PG fans aren't necessarily Sega fans (especially now).

So I want to know from you all... are you gonna import or what? And if you are, then which version are you going to get?

If you have specific reasons one way or the other post it here. That way anyone who is curious and looking for info will have a central location and stats to gauge and decide.

The poll is open and and you can change your vote if you change your mind. It will remain open until the day before release.

Me personally, I am not going to wait until ??? for it be released. I will be importing this game as it may be the last Platinum Games collaboration with Sega, which I have always felt boosted both groups. Sega's IP bank got better with PG developing for them and PG's games before (and now after) Sega seemed to lack a certain 'je ne sais quoi'.

I really don't know which version to get. I'm lucky enough to have both a 360 and a PS3, but loyal to neither.

What do you think? Got any info to share? Let's help each other out.

Post by: Barry the Nomad on June 21, 2012, 04:48:46 pm: If it isn't region locked on the 360, and I can find one to import for a reasonable price, I may import. But for now I'm waiting to hear SEGAs decision.

I'll vote yes and 360 though, since I will import if a price is right. $80+ is too steep.

Anyway, I don't do imports. I'll just wait till it comes out.

Post by: Randroid on July 03, 2012, 01:28:41 am: 100 bucks gone. Just pre-ordered from play-asia. PS3 copy. Hoping and praying it includes the pre-order code (but not expecting it).

Figure since I got six months with the japanese crowd, I should get the ps3 version.

Will probably get the xbox version when/if it comes over here.

$100.....Sega...love hurts.

And we can always double dip. I know I intend to.

The multiplayer kind of turns me off since i know it's going to be oh-so exploitable with cheap/broken stuff. Other than that single player might be fun.

Gamespot put out today a 25 minute clip of Anarchy Reigns. It's the japanese import version. One of the terms the reviewer used to describe it was "Gears of War and Streets of Rage combined into one".

Ontopic: Most likely getting it on ps3. Only sad I can't play it that often because I gave my ps3 to my brother. So I will have to visit him, but I hope he enjoys it at least.
