Title: What happened to that Segagaga patch?
Post by: SaturnineNights on July 05, 2012, 12:59:22 pm
I heard some guys were working on a localization patch a few years back, but I haven't heard anything on it in a while. Anyone know if they released, or if it fizzled out?

Last I heard from them it was 2011:

The Racketboy interview was over a year ago as well:

Hopefully they're still hard at work! I'll drop them a note and see if they reply.

Update: Sent them an email that said the following:

Hi there,

I write for the Dreamcast Junkyard as well as SEGAbits under the name of "Barry the Nomad". I was wondering if there was any update on the status of your SEGAGAGA translation project. Quite a number of interested fans have been asking us and we were hoping for an update straight from the horse's mouth.

Thanks and take care!

yeah I've got a google alert on 'segagaga' just for that project.

That game is pretty much the sum of my dreams when I was teenager.
