Title: Shinobi (PS2) On The PSN!
Post by: CosmicCastaway on August 13, 2012, 01:43:50 pm
I was checking out upcoming content for this week's update of the PSN Store and I saw Shinobi under the PS2 classics section.

Needless to say I am quite excited.  I have Nightshade but I never got to try out Shinobi so I can't wait to play it! Who else is planning on getting it?

I still have my PS2 copy, so I'll probably pass. Cool to see it on there though.
I never managed to make it very far in that game  :-[.

Do these PS2 downloadable titles have any perks?
I know they don't have trophies, but can you play them on a Vita, like you can with downloaded PSOne games on the PSP?

Yes, I do believe you can play the downloadable PS2 titles on the Vita.

Well that's pretty cool then. I'm hoping to get a Vita around the holiday season, so I just might put that feature to use.

Do they do graphical upgrades? I have the ps2 disk, but would like a graphic boost.

Wish they would do Nightshade. That game is rare.

There aren't any true upgrades in the visuals, but Shinobi does look more crisp than when I played the PS2 games on my old 60 GB PS3. So I think the downloadable PS2 titles look a bit better in my opinion.
I'm loving the game though. There is just something incredibly satisfying about the "Tate" system and you feel super-awesome when you perform one on a boss!
