There's reports around the web that the network battle mech game BORDERBREAK is headed towards IOS mobile systems. That's right mobile. Presumably its a way to make money of the download card data that Sega uses on its cards which can access mobile phones. Its meant to be coming at TGS with the new arcade version.
Its reported here so its defiantly true...

Thanks! Made a news post on it.
Damn shame that this isn't in Western arcades. The game looks awesome! Why not a console release or something?? Oh SEGA....

There seems to be a little bit of a renaissance of arcades in the U.S., with new ones starting to open up. Although they're mostly retro-focused, maybe if things keep going like this in a few years it could become a viable market again for new games.

I hope they consider this for a XBLA/PSN release one day...
A quick port job and promote it as a great online multiplayer with friends and you have a game already developed that makes money in the online section.
