Great news for PSO fans. I would love to see composition from PSO1 being done in Reality. Of course from the genesis classics as well, but mainly pso1 eps 1,2,3,4.

I remember them talking about this at TGS. Hopefully it ends up on youtube somehow.

Sweet, it includes the original series with PSI and PSIV. Day one whenever album preorders show up.

they should seriously celebrate the 25th anniversary by announcing Phantasy Star V.
i think it's a very good time to bring back the old formula, taking advantage of the franchise current success with PSO2 to expand the brand even further.
SQUARE-ENIX is doing it for quite some time with FF and now with DQ.

also i would like team skies/valkyria to be involved in development, specially since the PSO team is busy with PSO2.

Rieko Kodama has tweeted about this! She said she has designed this logo 25 years ago, for the first game, and never has imaginated that the series would come so long. Looks like she is very proud about it.

The original series ended up on 4, PSO got a slightly link with the original series, but the rest has nothing to do with Alis and the rest...

The CD with Myau on cover was a present for TGS 2012 and it's not available for purchase, sadly.

But it does not matter since the complete sound collection was released before and still available for purchase.

Phantasy Star is one of the Sega series that has not ended up completely destroyed by the time, like Shining, and I still loving the new series. Too bad the new one is only for Vita and PCs...

I actually hope that Sega would be building a proper offline PHANTASY STAR to coincide with the anniversary. Especially now Naka is out of the picture. ;) PSO has been all well  and all good but i'd like a bit of variety in my franchises as well.

I wouldn't have minded if PSO was still a hardcore single and online player experience, but since it has become such a mainstream and casual experience, I would actually be glad if they would make an actual quality single player experience again.

I have a soft spot for the franchise, but the japanese mass market of today has weird taste.
