Title: Then, Azuma Yoshitaka dies...
Post by: STORM! on December 01, 2012, 02:30:30 pm
It was revealed only today that Yoshitaka Azuma has died on October,11. The cause: pneumonia.

 He was 64 year old.

He was also a former member of an old japanese folk band, but for us, he was the composer of the songs in PANZER DRAGOON.

Sad to hear. I hope there will be no problems if Sega wants to rerelease PD again.

Now why wasn't this front page news?! The PD soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks made for a Sega game. I guess he wasn't a Sonic composer...

Just saw this ... this is really bumming me out. His soundtrack was/still is so cutting-edge.

I will remember his OST for this game forever.

RIP.
