That fine line between obsession and madness have been crossed:

He says he is not rich, which makes me lol as of COURSE he isn't rich. He has spent his life savings on all that stuff! At the very least we can hope that he has not touched a woman (some members are excluded from this, of course), at least we would have something he didn't...

Really interesting seeing all those rare items. I'm glad I can enjoy looking at someone else's collection and not feel the compulsion to amass one of my own.
The Dreamcast wristwatches are so cool.
-
Yeah, the watches appear on ebay every so often for $250-300.
-
I want the Dreamcast bike. hhahaha.
-
Show up to the conventions on a extra small Ulala t-shirt on a Dreamcast bike. Get laid by all the chicks in Bayonetta costumes.
-
Holy Shit.
That's awesome. The only thing I have out of all that is one of those silver watches.
-
That dude must have more DC promo discs than pubic hair strings.
Also, he has dev-kits and GD-ROMS? So he can like, copy games to GD-ROM? That's pretty cool.

I just held "page down" and the photos just kept coming. It's almost too much to take in. I'd be happy with ONE exclusive Dreamcast, the SC5 part 2 box, the Segagaga box and the De La Jet Set Radio box.
-
Oh man that shit is tastey! I'm not a collector of anything but this kind of shit makes me wish I was...
(Really want that Chu Chu Rocket DC!)
-
I'm heading to VideoGamesNewYork this weekend. I hope to find at least 1% of what this guy has. But in the end I'll probably leave with a few 32X games, a shitty Dreamcast game and a Genesis cartridge.
-
I must admit I've looked at importing the Segagaga box from time to time, but have resisted it so far. Maybe once I land a good job.
-
I had no idea there were printed GDs of Half-Life. Holy shit. That impressed me more than the bike.
And he doesn't seem to have a retail version of Rez. I do. Wat

Me too. PAL and Japanese versions :D

Segagaga is the one box that is worth owning, IMO. De La JSR and SC5 Part 2 only give you a shirt you'll never wear and headphones you'll never use. At least with SGGG you get the awesome pins AND a shirt you'll never wear.
From time to time I'll have an excess of cash that I want to use on a rare item, but I always fall back on a handful of less expensive games or get a rare game that I want to own to play, not collect. Panzer Dragoon Saga, Lack of Love and Cosmic Smash would all get my money before a silver Dreamcast would.
Besides, I have a clear Dreamcast. The best kind of Dreamcast to own:

Video Games New York?

VGNY is worth checking out if you're in NYC, though it isn't worth the trip alone. 90% of their stuff is far too pricey (a disc only Dreamcast game that would be $5 on ebay is $15 at VGNY). But when you enter, it's like "OMGWTF look at all the retro SEGA stuff!!!!!!!1111"
Last time I went, I came away with a few cool deals though. Picked up Floigan Bros and Illbleed for $10 each and almost bought a Japanese fishing rod and Bass Fishing mint in box for $25. They also carry indie DC games, which is pretty cool. I might pick up DUX from there next time I'm in the city.

Oh my god I didn't even know half that stuff even existed. And my friends think I'm crazy for owning a couple extra Dreamcast consoles.
-
I was on ebay searching for some Dreamcast stuff and I discovered that he is selling part of his collection. See here all his white labels for 1500 €
