I'm sure 32X fans are familiar with Shadow Squadron (a.k.a. Stellar Assault). If not, here's my review from last year....

It's one of my favorite games for peripheral. However, it was ported to the Saturn, though it never received a state-side release. Here's some footage from Stellar Assault....

The game's fucking gorgeous. Besides the visual and aural update, Stellar Assault for Sega Saturn obviously beefed up the narrative and the challenge. Well, one of our YouTube subscribers, SaturnMemories, directed me towards these videos showing off Stellar Assault FSO. This is a fan-made HD remake of the Saturn game. This footage is absolutely stunning. Great effects and incredible sense of speed. Unfortunately, it looks as though the game has been shelved because I haven't found any other information about this title.
in any case, here's a couple of videos....

EDIT: According to their webpage - http://stellarassault.fsmods.net/ - they're still working on the game. Still, the last update was almost 3 years ago. :(
