Kenji Inafune is starting a Mega Man successor beacuse apparently Capcom won't let him do the the series everything looks pretty rad, and it's reached 250K out of 900K already in 5 hours, so there's no doubt that it will reach it's goal.

What say you SEGABits?

Edit: let's post something on topic first.

So the game that was cancelled was obviously MegaMan Legends sequel from what I know MM Legends is basically MegaMan in 3D. Where as Mighty#9 is a sidescroller like all other MegaMan games.

I wish studios like Capcom and Sega would be more liberal at economically licensing their franchises to the talent that helped create them. That way, they won't have to clone their own franchises.

Capcom and Sega have a history of suffering from clones.
The creator of Street Fighter quit the company and created Art of Fighting, which is why Ryo is an obvious clone of Ryu with significant differences made to prevent Capcom from suing them.

Then we have Sega who currently have Mizugichi cloning his creation Rez with Child of Eden and the upcoming Panzer Dragoon clone that I can't remember the name off.

Saw this earlier, exploded out of the gate and love that it's focusing on PC. Great to see Japanese indies finally realize; YES! there is a market on PC for your games.

If it doesn't get on consoles it won't be relevant, sadly.

Here is to reaching its goals.

Steam isn't relevant? It's already relevant because of how quick it reached it's goal. It's also very likely that it will reach the console stretch goal.

I'm pretty sure it'll be able to reach around $2,200,000 within the next 24 days.

What are you talking about? Traditionally indie games sell better on PC? And tons of games that are not Blizzard or Valve do well on PC?
