Just wanted to let people know if like me you have been waiting for a sale to play this one on 360. It's 50% off all of this week which makes it £4.99 in the UK.

Great game, great price! Really suggest that those who missed out on the game pick it up at this price.
-
Bought it last night.
Nice to have something besides DQ 8 to play around with.
-
Dairy Queen 8?

It's currently 50% off on Steam as well: http://store.steampowered.com/app/227600/
However, it's best to wait and see if there will be a cheaper daily deal for the game.

I enjoyed it! Really does do the original game justice while mixing it up enough to be something totally fresh. The art direction is just superb and blows the new Ducktales game out of the water in that regard. I think the original game is still more difficult but only because it was a very early release for the Genesis and the controls are sorta stiff. Butt bouncing is just so much easier to pull off now.
It's ashame Sega Studios Australia was disbanded. Get finished making such a great little title, and then they all get laid off. That's just wrong...

Doesn't the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions suffer from input lag? The PC version does if you play it full screen as it limits the refresh rate to 24hz for some reason. Someone was able to make a mod to change the framerate to 60fps if played windowed.
Edit: Turns out the PC version was updated to officially go up to 60hz, which is nice, but doesn't quite work right on my setup if I set 60hz with 1280 X 720, but setting it to a slightly odd resolution works well, full screen even.

Finally started playing this last night and got the first two gems. I was bracing myself for the input/control issues I've heard people talk about. But there's nothing wrong with the controls at all. They're quick and responsive. Levels are designed really well, with lots of hidden areas to seek out. Art direction is fantastic, gameplay is solid with enough variation to keep things interesting. Overall, it's a great game and it's a travesty that that DuckTales re-skin got more attention than this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if the console had input lag issues because of the framerate. In the PC version the controls are fine unless the framerate goes below 30fps, at which point the controls get some pretty bad input lag.

Okay... I'm saying there are no input lag issues, at least on the 360.

Well then...That was quite the turn of events~
