2014 is the “Year of the Dreamcast” because great games can still be made for it. In most cases the Dreamcast still works since it doesn’t have a hard drive waiting to die. It doesn’t require 200 software upgrades or a crappy, gimmicky motion sensor bar. It’s cheap as dirt (usually around $30-$50 with accessories) and games are readily available. There’s a huge Dreamcast fanbase that can help with any questions. It also sounds cool. Dreamcast. I love my Dreamcasts. I have three of them. Cheap, awesome, lots of games, new releases. Awesome.
I don’t always play Sega Dreamcast, but when I do, I rock that shit like a blizzurricane!!

2014 is going to be a great year for Dreamcast fans. We have a SEGAbits convention panel planned for June which will partially focus on the Dreamcast. Should be a lot of fun!

Except 2014 is the Saturn's 20th anniversary... ???

But every year is a Saturn Year :D

I actually brought my Saturn and my Dreamcast to my parent's house. Was gonna use one to ring in the new year. I traditionally use the Saturn and NiGHTS. Guess I might do the Dreamcast this year. XD

Ironic that I played Panzer Dragoon Saga and Burning Rangers to celebrate their 15th Anniversary!
So 2013 was my Saturn Year. :3

I will gladly celebrate the 15th anniversary of the USA launch when I get Redux;Dark Matters, Pier Solar and Neo XYX in.

Sturmwind just got the Game Of The Year Award from Classic Game Room.
Mark's review of the game is also very convincing that the game is absolutely amazing for space ship shooter fans. I find it wonderful that the Dreamcast keeps on getting these incredible releases.

I got some Dreamcast games last year for my birthday that I really need to get around to playing. L.O.L...
