Title: Freedom Planet: Sonic & genesis games inspired (coming out soon)

I was kind of skeptical as i've been following the game since it started at sonic fan games hq website. The game had been funded through kickstarter and is now actually coming out soon.

The trailer imo looks really cool and damn nostalgic.

Although I sort of agree, not entirely appealing and I had the same problem with Dust. The stage art and general gameplay looks great though.

Ha, Brock is like six feet tall so he'll be completing the stages twice as fast with twice less the effort!*

The name itself fails the game. "Freedom Planet". I mean it sounds like the ultimate Simulator game. I understand the I mean the game itself just looks like, lets have a blast. "III AMMM GOOOINNGG TOO GETTT DAATT RABBITTT" and then you have the "My little pony" abuse of "Looney Tunes".

They could have called it "Carvnival Zone 2000", where youngings decided to go out on town, and gets into all kinds of trouble. In the end Policeman Sonic comes along and takes everybody home, and wrecks up the joint.
