You can give any reason on why you choose that system! Games, graphics, child-hood,etc. Lets see which system wins!

From a tech perspective, Saturn is the most interesting. Best controller Sega made, great memory device, built like a rock. Quads look better than triangles - in general, when time was spent, Sat looked better than PS.
Games were top notch. You can spend a lot of time talking about what wasn't on the Saturn, but what it did have was great. Virtua Fighter 2, Capcom Fighters, Panzer Dragoon, several Shining, Guardian Heroes, Dragon Force, Iron Storm, easily accessed games from Japan w/ the Action Replay (no mods necessary), House of the Dead, Sega Rally and so on.

Saturn - For its traditional shooters and 3D shooters

I went with the Dreamcast, on the condition that online is up and running and I can play online games. I love the console's library, there are so many games that can take days if not weeks to explore (Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia II) and it even can play emulated classics which covers both Genesis and Master System libraries.
-
Shouldn't this be in classic console discussion?
-
Master System.
If Sega have a good status it's because the sms gave knowhow to Sega. If Sega had a hard fight with Nintendo in 8 bit scenario developing almost alone, imagine what Big S was capable with Genesis? Sega have debt with Sega Master System. Moreover, because Nintendo had a dirty policy in third party developers the SMS don't had one chance to show all potential. SMS would deserves one second chance. My vote goes to sms

im the only one picking genesis so far heh.
If I only pick genesis, i'd still have a long catalogue of games to finish. I did get far, but I Havent finished any ps game. So thats what i'd be doing.
Genesis also has some very obsecure gems like crusader of centy and pulseman. I also just love the genesis chip soundtracks. Couldnt live without it

I couldn't decide between Genesis and Dreamcast! I chose Dreamcast Cause I can play Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast games on it. ;)
-
Gotta go with the Mega Drive/Genesis, partly because this also has the ability to update with MegaCD/32x and also to play the entire SMS library on top of it's own already impressive collection. Also the 6 button pad is the best controller I have ever used.
-
It has to be Dreamcast. Even though I have a lot of memories with the Genesis/MegaDrive.I just have a lot more memories with the Dreamcast. Playing my first ever online game (PSO) on a console instead of a Computer...that was crazy back then, playing the sport games with 3 other friends, hell I think the Sega Sports titles are better than anything EA did.And Finally seeing Sonic for the first time in 3D,the Dreamcast blew me away.
-
I'm not voting as I can't make my mind on it.
-
Genesis by a long shot. Just so many great titles that I can still pick up and enjoy today. Out of the 250 or so games I own there are only a handful I'd qualify as "bad" and I know there are plenty more gems for me to discover.
-
Dreamcast, because Shenmue.
Also it has a fantastic selection of games that I play more often than any other console.
-
I need to choose the Genesis ...
It was my first console and my star in gaming, and has some of the best games - in my opinion
-
Saturn. Though it had a short turbulent life, it got so many things right and as time passes more and more people understand that. It easily had the best controller I have ever used. It was a 2D powerhouse, but could handle 3D very well if the right programmers were working with it. It was also the first system I bought with my own money. Many a day I spent on Sega Rally, VF2, Fighting Vipers and the likes. Fantastic library of games and a great looking system as well.

Welcome aboard DarthTsarkon!
I love the Saturn, just can't choose over it or the Megadrive.
A few years ago I would've said Dreamcast hands down, but almost all of it's games are now ported somewhere else.
-
Yeah I know, the Genesis/MD is amazing and has countless classics. Mine still gets regular playtime. Though I love the DC for its technological prowess, for me it lagged behind when it came to games that held my interest. Obviously it had many great games, but there are only a few that I hold on the same level as the Panzer Dragoon series, Iron Storm, Fighters Megamix and of course Genesis titles such as the Phantasy Star series. PSIV...what a game.

I'd go Dreamcast.
Mostly for the variety of games and genres.
Heck, it was inventing genres that haven't been seen since.
-
Dreamcast. Why?
Jet Set Radio
Skies of Arcadia
Headhunter
Power Stone
Power Stone 2
Soul Calibur
Sonic Adventure 1
Sonic Adventure 2
Shenmue 1
Shenmue 2
Marvel vs Capcom 2: New age of heroes
Crazy Taxi 1
Crazy Taxi 2
Typing of the dead
House of the dead
Silent Scope
Ready to Rumble
Ikaruga
Virtual Fighter
Toy Commander
Carrier
and countless other ports, arcade games and obscure Japanese games.

Insanely difficult choice for me between the Saturn and DC, but the presence of Shenmue I and II on the Dreamcast makes it more essential. Only Saturn game to really come close for me is Dragon Force (and maybe Panzer Dragoon Saga, if it weren't so damn expensive). Furthermore, its potential for homebrew games and emulators really extends the Dreamcast's longevity, even in light of it not having as large a library as say, the Genesis/Mega Drive.
The only downside of the Dreamcast is that it isn't as well built as its predecessors. I've had a Saturn since 1996 (and one that I've admittedly been very rough with) which works flawlessly, whereas my first Dreamcast broke down after three years of careful use.
