Title: Chain Chronicles, pretty popular.
Post by: Sharky on February 04, 2015, 11:56:10 am
So Chain Chronicles is blowing up, lots of people playing it... People I actually know in RL playing it. (Unexpected, people I actually know in RL are not usually into that kind of thing.)

Anyone playing it?

By the way is Sega actually making any money out of the Western release? I know another company published it, if they not making any money they missed a huge fucking trick with this one.

Sega does not make any money from the Western release, Sega of America basically sold it off to Gumi Asia for a set one-time fee rather than self-publish. They didn't think it would be very popular and I'm pretty sure they sold it for a song.

C'est la vie...

And that's why they don't exist anymore... What a shame!

See, Sega should have done since the beginning. Partner up with companies that specialize in stuff Sega Japan is making, and sell the license.

Hasbro also licensed toys from Sega Toys, instead of Sega Toys having a western division.
