Ah yes I remember watching this when I booted up the game back in 2005 and feeing my heart swell with misplaced pride... It's weird that being a 'fan' of some entity like a company or sports team... Its weird that some external thing far removed from your physical body can have an effect on your feelings and emotions. Like genuine happiness to be playing a really awesome new game, or genuine sadness to see them losing money on their financial report or laying off staff.

I loved that and the intro for Yakuza 2, such a unique and memorable intro, wish they could do more stuff like that often.

I believe Sega of America scrapped it because it wasn't Family Friendly enough, or wasn't 'On message'.
