Title: sega should continue the sonic the headhog series

Why isn't sega doing episode 5 or another sonic the headhog game?

Sonic 3D Blast 5 was truly amazing, but IMO, Sonic Adventure 7 definitely improves a lot on the adventure formula.

Hey there Thpblub welcome to the forums!

Unfortunately Sega of America sold Sonic to Nintendo along with Bayonetta earlier this year, so unless Nintendo wishes to make more Sonic the Head Hog games, we aren't getting any more.

Trust me, I heard it from my best friend at school, his step-sister's uncle's sister in law's son's dentist's brother works at Nintendo and can confirm this. Nintendo also cancelled Shenmue 3.
