That's a good black comedy right there, they couldn't afford 12 years old actors, so they decided to give a little boost in age but with the same mentality as children.

Post by: inthesky on February 13, 2015, 12:49:25 pm: Law and Order SVU (and I think a couple of other crime shows, but they escape me) frequently do "topical" episodes. The writing on this show isn't good to begin with. So you get..this.

The only reasons to watch this show are that it spreads awareness of things like domestic abuse and something else that I can't remember.

I could see NCIS doing it maybe, which is like CSI for Dyslexics.

I remember hearing the writers for NCIS admitting they purposefully make all their tech/gaming references as cringe-worthy as possible and see how much they can sneak past the producers and directors, which is why we got gems like '12 gigabite pipe' and two people using the same keyboard to 'hack faster'.

The abortion clinic episode was strange, not to mention that surreal episode in which they decide to investigate a drug company for not providing magical anti-crazy pills for a murderer.

This episode, on the other hand, is pure fantasy.
