Weird how the audience goes from full hate to dancing in a matter of seconds.
-
A good idea for a reboot, putting it in first-person, and I'm less disgusted by the FMV aspect than I thought I would be.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if this gets destroyed by Rock Band 4, which has backwards compatibility with DLC from previous games and with the instruments.
-
Might not be evident..but GH and RB have very different ideals behind them.
GH's biggest mistake was trying to imitate RB.

Eh, all I can say is this gimmick of the FMV crowd and band will be repetitive as hell like the 10th time you play it and won't matter.
I thought it would have been cool to have 3D crowds will built in AI to respond differntly to each song doing different things like: Play a metal song = mosh pit (if played good) and a ballad you get people with lighters.
This is just generic hot topic stand ins acting like their into a show.

One thing I noticed that isn't advertised nearly enough is that instead of DLC, it lets you stream music videos and play them. Which is probably the advantage of using FMVs rather than in-game models. Not sure if playing these music videos would cost money though.
-
I'll stick with Rock Band. The ability to carry over the hundreds of songs I have from the previous generation is just too good to pass up.
-
Also the new change on the buttons is a step back. I guess the streaming music videos is cool but why aren't they demoing it? A little skeptical on how well that works.
