Title: Misleading information about SEGA games in Nintendo's official website
Post by: Berto on May 12, 2015, 11:41:45 pm
Guys, could anybody do something about Nintendo's official website about 3D classic series?
Tried e-mail them but no response.

They treat most of 3D classic series as Virtual Console.
What worse some games are even written this in the details : "THIS GAME IS ONLY PLAYABLE IN 2D"

I'm guessing it's something put on there automatically with them being classed as Virtual Console releases. It still mentions it being in 3D in the rest of the description though, and of course in the titles.

If anybody has a NeoGaf announced, post this on the SEGA 3DS classics thread... I think one of the producers posts on that topic from time to time.

Sam Mullen, yeah. But this seems to be something from Nintendo's side rather than SEGA.

Listing them as Virtual Console games probably helps with their visibility on the website if you're using the filters to search for titles.

So is this Sam guy new? Is he moving with SoA to their new office or is he out?

P.S I have Yu Suzuki on speed dial. We've been exchanging ideas about Shenmue 3. Ryo turns into a Werehog in the final act.

Nah we did a podcast with him last week. He is staying at SEGA, he worked on older games (2011ish).

The podcast was fine, worth a listen if you care to hear about his SEGA stuff:

I doubt anyone even visits these pages tho.

I have this kind of chat with my Facebook friend days ago after he read 3D Streets of Rage 2 article. He's a Ninty fan, but he loved to play SOR when he was a kid.

Him : All right. I can't wait this 3D Streets of Rage 2. I really hope the first one get the same 3D effect, I'd buy it in instant.
Me : What do you mean? It WAS in 3D, even the title said it so, "3D" SOR.
Him : Japanese version only may be? The US site said it only playable 2D.

He then direct me to the site, and that's what made me post a topic about these.

That was fast. Thanks.  :)
