That does look good.
Not sure why, but I never got round to playing the older games despite always liking the look of them. If I do pick up a PS4, think I'll go for this too.

The game will be 10-12 hours long, and will cost $39.99. (http://www.videogamer.com/ps4/ratchet_clank/news/ratchet_and_clank_ps4_is_1080p_30fps_insomniac_aiming_to_match_or_exceed_cg_movie_fidelity.html)

I really wasn't planning on picking this up, but all this new info's definitely changed my mind.
I was a big fan of the Ratchet & Clank games on PS3, but didn't really care for the first one when I played the trilogy re-release. It just felt really primitive, and tough to play compared to the later games. It's great to hear that they're updating the whole thing from the ground up, and that it's basically a new game all-together.

I love the way the game is looking. The graphics are beautiful.

This may be the first R&C I actually buy. It looks gorgeous.
I take issue a bit with the campy incessant dialogue. I am having Sonic boom war flashbacks.

Sonic Boom is inspired by Ratchet and Clank, it's pretty obvious. They even took Ratchet's enerbeam.
Ratchet is a downright ass in the first game though, they lightened him up after that. All the games are great, you've been missing out if you haven't played them. The first one has really aged a lot though, it's controls are rough. Probably part of why they are remaking it.

Ratchet & Clank usually does that kind of dialogue a lot better than Sonic Boom did though.
