I played it a very long time ago, when it was on the PS2... The art style was its main draw and it's really great. Unfortunately it was a bit clunky to play but Vanillaware, the developers have improved a lot since then, Muramasa and Dragons Crown were better games. Thankfully it looks like this rerelease has a huge gameplay reworking and plays a lot more like Muramasa now, a game were a lot of fluid combat and combs can be performed.
