SEGA Japan will release a 2nd Physical 3D Classics Compilation

SEGA Japan will release a 2nd Physical 3D Classics Compilation for the Ninty 3DS on December 23rd 2015. The 3DS game card will include more of the already released digitally classics such as:
3D Sonic the Hedgehog
3D Galaxy Force II
3D Thunderblade
3D Altered Beast
3D Fantasy Zone II
3D Puyo Puyo 2
3D Power Drift
3D Maze Walker
3D Power Drift absolutely needs to reach NA & EU 3DS eShops.

It most likely will. I mean, its minimal effort really, most of these titles already are translated and what not. Even if they aren't, arcade games aren't text heavy.

LOL. On the topic, I wasn't too thrilled with the addition of Master System's Space Harrier 3D and Outrun 3D, they're not as fun to play (and to watch) compared to the superior 3D Space Harrier and 3D Outrun. Yes they are a different game, but why play the lesser version when you can play the superior version.
But now... aside from Master System's version of 3D Fantasy Zone II there's nothing else to compare 3D Puyo Puyo 2, 3D Power Drift, and 3D Maze Walker. I'm gonna enjoy them more.

I think there are some good reasons. Space Harrier 3D is actually a sequel to Space Harrier. Inasmuch as Space Harrier has lore and a plot, Space Harrier 3D continues it - most notably because Euria, the friendly white dragon from Space Harrier's bonus stages, has been kidnapped following his ascension to the throne of the Land of Dragons, and it's up to Harrier to rescue him.
Out Run 3D is a great inclusion because it's one of the more rare and expensive Master System games in its original cartridge form.
Both are also notable because they're adapted from some of Yuji Naka's earliest work at Sega - the Master System's versions of the original Space Harrier and Out Run.
I think they're both technical marvels for an 8-bit system. If you directly compare them to the arcade originals, sure they're much more limited. But in the context of what was possible on 8-bit consoles at the time, they're absolutely amazing. Actually it makes me want to get an import 3DS and the physical releases of the 3D Classics series...

For some reason, 3D Sega Classics are the only games that actually look good with 3D on. M2 must be made up of black magic wielding Japanese programmers.
Not that much into Power Drift but Sega could bring these collections on retail over here. You know, not asking much.

Go get it then, you're sure love these 2 games much more than I do. These 3D Classic Archives is the reason why I have two 3DS now (Japanese & US version).
Yeah, those two games were excellent back when I was childhood, but I don't why they''ve lost their charm now to my eyes. IMO the music of Space Harrier 3D is kinda painful to hear too now, but thankfully the music of Outrun 3D is not. They still sounds great in 3DS.

Yeah... I think it's Uriah in the original version, but in the U.S. SMS manuals they changed it to Euria for some reason.

Yeah, it's like a mix of Outrun and F-Zero GX. It's the perfect game for the 3D effect too.

POWER DRIFTS IS SO GOOD
Im thinking of getting a New 3DS just to enjoy the 3D effect, as I just cant do it with a regular 3DS

Well that's clear then. Yeah the new 3ds's 3d is really good. But thats coming from someone who could be satisfied with the regular 3ds' 3d. Let me know what u think when you get one :D
