I hope not all publishers are putting too much effort into an add-on, I feel like lots have been burnt buy some of these trends.

Never was all that interested in VR to be honest. From what i've heard, PSVR is gonna cost about as much as a console..

In the end of the day its about attach ratios. If there is a system in place for developers to easily add VR to existing games, fine. But don't make ground up VR games only for an add-on, basically suicide seeing as how Japanese devs are already missing one of their biggest market (Japan) due to low sales. Don't further shrink your base with a add-on only games.
