From the press release about Sonic Lost World coming to PC:
“We’re delighted to be able to bring Sonic Lost World to PC.” Said John Clark, VP of Commercial Publishing for SEGA Europe; “This is the latest in a string of high quality PC ports of past SEGA titles that we will be building on in the coming months and years.”

I'm happy about it. As long as the games and ports continue to be good, I'll buy them.

I wonder how Yakuza would do on PC compared to Ps3

Yakuza makes you use a gamepad so i don't think it'll get past 100k like Valkriya Chronicles
-
A Yakuza: Dead Souls PC port would be wicked cool. Perfect time to release a Halloween-themed game.

Sarcasm? IDK man, VC has done nearly or slightly over 500K on steam, so I'd say its a pretty decent measure.

You mean past 500k? (http://steamspy.com/app/294860)
Also, Sonic Lost World is best played with a gamepad as well. Didn't stop SEGA from porting that to PC though. :V

I wonder if the recent port of ZombU triggered Sonic LW?
Anywho, I'd like to see the following please SEGA :)
Sonic Colours HD
Shenmue I & II
Yakuza Series (this might actually happen with the remake)
Skies of Arcadia

Dude, of all Yakuza games that could come out for PC, you pick Dead Souls?
Gimme the mainline games, man. Gimme the spinoffs that we never even played here. Shit, gimme Panzer Dragoon, gimme Vanquish, gimme Shenmue 1 and 2 (Don't fucking this up, Sega), Skies of Arcadia, Virtua Fighter 5. So much good shit, man. Sega needs to wake the fuck up.

Because it's the only Yakuza game that kinda sorta works with Keyboard+Mouse ?

Probably more because of the Nintendo exclusivity period ran out. Also Valkyria Chronicles PC selling well when it comes to other future PC ports.
-
I think they should put Valkyria on PS4 and Sonic LW on Xbone/PS4. I really dont get why they woudn't

I don't see how how well a game plays on one control scheme effects its standing on another control scheme. Half-Life, Unreal Tournament, and Quake 3 were all tooled for the keyboard and mouse, yet they all saw Dreamcast ports of some shape. Likewise, stuff like Sonic Generations and Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed are very much best played with a controller, but they ended up being the best on PC. And it's not like controllers DON'T exist for PC, there's quite a range of options there.

It's funny how majority-funded games by Nintendo like ZombiiU and Lost World will be released in PC.
Exclusivity deals are more flexible this gen.

Third party games that are exclusive because of deals are almost always a timed exclusive unless the publisher is the the console manufacturer. This isn't just the case with this gen, at the very least it's been happening since last gen.

Yes but companies now paid the whole development for making a timed exclusive.
The Sequel of Tomb Raider couldn't be made if Microsoft didn't pay the big buck.
I think "pro-competitive market" clauses in deals and contracts are a thing.

Actually, some bigger publishers are being more flexible when it comes to exclusivity this generation in the sense that they're letting the developers keep the rights to their IPS. Microsoft is doing alot of that, lately, with the whole PC-Xbone joint gaming platform they're trying to push, it's actually pretty cool. Nintendo is more tight when it comes to that but they have a good relationship with Sega since they make a shit load of money with that shitty Mario/Sonic at the Olympics. Plus Bayonetta 2 was an act of good faith from both publishers at Platinum Games.
Timed exclusives is also much more prevalent, like you said.
Lost World is keeping the Nintendo themed DLC so they have that going on for them. It's the new hip thing this generation. Exclusive fucking DLC.

That's just PR though. They could have made a Tomb Raider sequel without Microsoft. It just wouldn't have a ridiculously big budget.

Don't worry, someone will mod that DLC into the PC version. :V

Lately I sort of get the feeling that PC/Steam has a lot of SEGA fans reach. Im not too sure about that tho. Valkyria chronicles was kind of the perfect game for PC as somebody else mentioned. But how would a skies of arcadia do for example? I guess a game like that could be the ultimate test?(This is me wishing for a SOA port :( )

The sequel to TR was being made long before MS came in with the cheque book, I think you find.

I believe SEGA Games wants to expand on Steam ports because that's where most of their loyal and hardcore fans are at!
