very surprised about Niche Gamer. They do good work but its mostly just news. I wish they did original content.

Surprised as well, since I rarely (or almost never) read the top two (Niche Gamer & Tech Raptor).
Well, about original content, that would be suit for "Best Gaming Website", not "Most Popular Gaming Website".
Popular means suitable to the majority, and I think majority just want light news, not deep coverage.
But still if it's mostly just publishing news, I though Gematsu & Siliconera were most popular.
Turn out I was wrong, lol.
Btw.. Kotaku didn't make it, dunno why.

Niche Gamer is pretty good to add to both Siliconera and Gematsu. I have a feedly feed with a lot of sites. Thinking of taking off IGN and Gamespot since they mostly cover TV and comics now more than games.

I agree, IGN really gone down hill and its a case of being almost too big and trying to cover too many subjects. Its a bit of shame to see whats happened to IGN

A sample size of 3,000 people, 950 of whom were readers of some website I've never heard of.
Yeah this poll is useless, I think.

If you haven't heard of Gemastu, Niche Gamer and/or Siliconera, ya doing it wrong. Add those to your bookmark, some good stuff.

What I don't like about Niche Gamer is there were always those NSFW Ads on them.
I never got those kind of ads on Siliconera, Senpaigamer, and Gematsu.
