Barry - you work for SEGA, right? Do you know if there will ever be a Virtua Fighter 6?

Look, the last VF came out 4 years ago. AM2 has been publicly silent during this time, only helping out with DOA5, another fighter. They are working on something, VF6 prolly

They didnt do anything for DOA...just supervising stuff. AM2 is getting a little more visible outside of upgrades of arcade game. Kancolle Arcade is brandnew, and the Miku Arcade port.

AM2 has not became a mere Miku port dev overnight for sure. VF6 will be announced after Tekken 7's global release, I'm sure

Tekken 6 doesn't have a cat's chance of competing against a new Virtua Fighter because Christie and Eddie will not be in the new one. That's what I like about VF, they always have the best characters in all their games.

Wouldn't it have to be announced at E3?

Depends on how far along they are in development I suppose.

Tekken has managed to stay in the Evo line-up for years thanks to TTT2 and good marketing. T7 is already there, so it's sure to be successful.
Meanwhile, Sega has completely dropped the ball with VF. The last "major" tournaments were years ago, the best players have left and are now playing other games, VF5 has been out of Evo for years. That is a LOT of catching up to do. Sega needs a shitload of marketing

Speaking of the devil, Virtua Fighter could be coming to Evo Japan, January 2018.

Yikes 2018 Thats a ways away, as long as they continue the series. I just hope for another Fantasy Star or Panzer Dragoon someday. Please SEGA!!!

We can play Virtua Fighter in Yakuza 6. Could it be an even bigger sign that SEGA has a new Virtua Fighter in mind?

I'm not sure how 'true' it is but I have heard from two seporate sources, one I trust pretty well, that these incredible creatine supplements help build muscle (http://www.cnponline.org/) and hopfully are in development. But take it with a total grain of salt.

I can't wait for a new virtua fighter game.

No . You can the likes of OutRun , Powerdrift in Yakuza games and SEGA never going to make a new one of those anytime soon . Its just a easy game to put in and enu I would guess . Do hope SEGA make a new VF 6 though  SEGA lossing a lot of ground to Namco now  for VS fighters inthe Arcades and needs to fight back (excuse the  pun)
