Has anyone seen the new map for the prequel to R.D.R.? It's very exciting!
-
eh.. I'm quite sick of Rockstar's games
-
It's not coming to PC, so I don't care.
-
Everyone hates Rockstar at this point. I don't know why you would be excited unless you're just a special little snowflake who hasn't thought to play better games.

Yeah. They will have to change things up a bit despite their polish work being unmatched
-
I should have just posted this thread on a different site. Geez. Why all the hate?

No hate here.. Their games just aren't all that good.
-
On a technical level, they're great and I completely understand the excitement for it. But, For me (and I expect others on here) I'm kind of tired of open world games. There's been too many of them and all they've really done is show how much I prefer more linear experience or games with a smaller "open world" but with more to actually do in them.

Tbh I think what you can do in the games is great. I know most people including I who just startup the games to mess around which honestly is one of the game's strong points. Just seems like the structure is making you do the same things over and over again. IE go here talk to some person and then go there to kill some guys. Could be the nature of sandbox games I guess? We'll see

Rockstar peaked at GTA2.
-
I thought Vice City was the best personally. They captured the style and tone perfectly in that.
-
Max Payne 3, RD: Redemption, and GTA: San Andreas were three of Rockstar's best games. It's not about their best games though. It's about what will come from the third installment of Red Dead.
Who would even say they're not a fan of old western movies? To my knowledge, Rockstar is the only one making games in this particular genre.
-
That's the thing. Old western movies make great movies, not great games. To me it just feels like GTA with a horse.
-
The reveal didn't really show much did it? Still, I'm guessing people know what they're getting with this, so there's little need to show too much.
-
It's ok to keep us in suspense. I just want the online experience to be as good, if not better than it was before.
-
I know this is super old, but the comments I was getting back then just made me laugh. This thread didn't age well, did it?
-
Lol, this is why there is saying, "Some past is best left forgotten."
I myself too didn't expect that RDR2 would be amazing.
