Title: Megadrive Mouse (Jap / UK)
Post by: Belfastfumanchu on June 07, 2017, 06:06:52 am
Hi folks, (almost) a lifelong Sega fan.  I have a question that I am guessing few will know the answer to.

Question is this:  Will the Japanese Sega Mega Drive mouse work on a UK Mega Drive ?  I'm tempted to buy one to play Cannon Fodder on but the only one I can find so far is from Japan.

Cheers for any help !

As far as I know all SEGA's Controllers are Region-Free.
I never got or heard any SEGA's controller that aren't region free.

But then again I never had a SEGA mouse, so if it's region locked, that would be the first.
At least according to SEGA-16 forum member, the Japanese SEGA mouse is worked on NTSC US machine :

I've never considered using the mouse on anything besides Wacky Worlds that it came with until now. All those wasted years
