The objective is to collect as many skulls as you can. You can't collect them while they're on fire, so you'll have to bop them with an arrow first.

A developer SegaMark has developed a new game “Dr. Sukebe x-boobs" which is a port of the game from j2me mobile phones to a 16-bit console Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. The port is notable for the fact that this is the first (and possibly the last) game that is written in pure Java using the Java Grinder. At the moment the game is implemented as originally intended, perhaps in the future there will be some improvements or cosmetic changes. The port is slightly different from the original; it does not have a menu; the start button is used to switch between game elements. Completing the entire game can take you about 2 minutes; the game is more intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the engine and to prove that you can create games for SMD in Java.

Based on the cartoon series with the same name, Mega Drive version planned to be published by VIC Tokai in 1994 was cancelled for unknown reasons.
In 2021, Piko Interactive picked up the rights to the Stone Protectors license and set up a Kickstarter campaign to bring the series back in 2022, including a polished aftermarket release of the cancelled Mega Drive version.
Now JP Mega Drive and Super Famicom version will be released by Colombus Circle.

Gameplay:
1) avoid touching enemies (will restart the same level).
2) crystals have a pattern.
they will turn blue if you selected the correct one,
it will stay purple if not but be careful as if you
select the incorrect one after having selected 1 or
more correctly it will reset all of them.
3)you can fall from the stage.
falling will have the same affect as getting touched by enemies
but you have a small time frame to get back on the platform
use it to your advantage.

"The Secret of the Four Winds" is a Japanese-style action role-playing game (in development) that we have been working on for years.
The cartridge contains a custom board with an audio enhancement chip.
This game will make use of that audio chip but it can also be played with the console's original audio if desired.
This video contains both the enhanced audio and FM audio intro and gameplay, also in English and Spanish.
Use the time stamps to navigate to your preferred version.
This is just the very beginning of the game. Further on the player will control 3 different characters at the same time (the player can control any of the 3 characters at any time and the other characters will be controlled by the CPU). The player can give orders and priorities to the other characters at any time so the companions do what we need them to do.
The game-play is deep, wih some strategy and tactics, character development at will (grow a given character as a tank or as an attacker or healer etc). The story also begins simple and quite typical, but it will evolve and change quite a lot. The decisions you make during the game will have consequences, etc.

I find it very amusing. The gameplay doesn't try to resemble the original, being much faster and dynamic, but it engages me much more.
I tried to make the difficulty scale in a linear way and I think I got it, the enemies gradually increase the speed from stage 1 to 64, and the number of items on the screen is slowly rising.

A little homage to a number of classic video games including Lunar Lander and derivatives like Marslander for the BBC Micro.
The idea is to land the craft safely on the landing pad, which is only just big enough to accept it.
The physics is mildly realistic, simulating a gravitational constant, and a cheeky "solar wind" which blows the craft off course to the left or right.
The controls are simple:
Press either action button to apply thrust to the lander
Use the left or right direction keys to change the thrust angle.

Find as many primes in the displayed bowl of spaghetti numbers to beat the high score.
Game rules are:
- the prime number to find must be odd and between 0 and 200.So this means the prime number 2 is not a valid answer.
- for one digit or two digits primes they must exist with one leading zero or two leading zeros, in the bowl of spaghetti numbers to represent such primes. For example if 005 exists in the bowl then this is the valid (and only) answer for the prime number 5.
- when all ten lives are lost or the time has run out then the game is over -entering an incorrect answer means a life is lost.
- Primes are read from top left to bottom right (as mentioned in the about section). So for example this means if a prime number such as 199 appears only vertically, over three lines, then this is not a valid answer.
- at least one point is awarded for every two correct prime numbers entered
So when playing your first few games, for pratice, it may help to have a printed out list of the odd primes between 0 and 200 and in later games just use only your memory without looking at the printed list.

Beastball: Gladiator Edition (Genesis, $60) - I'm super excited for this game! The game was originally released in 1993 as Brutal Sports Football for the Amiga, and was advertised to come out on the Genesis and Super Nintendo toward the end of that year under the name Beastball... but it never did. Instead, Spectrum Holobyte made the interesting choice to release the game for the Atari Jaguar and CD32, while the Genesis and SNES games never saw the light of day. The Jaguar version is one of my personal favorite games for that console, and I am happy to report the Genesis game plays similarly. If you get into it, I think it's a blast.
Even better, we worked with Steve "Tower" Henneberry of American Gladiators fame, and he is lending his official endorsement to the game! It's a perfect crossover, and we created a new backstory and were even able to make an awesome splash screen that will be exclusive to this version of the game. Limited to 200 copies, each one will be signed by Steve Henneberry and will an include an individually numbered collector coin!"

I recommend burning the game to a 27C160 ROM and installing it on a cartridge that maps battery-backed SRAM to the upper 2MiB boundary. Alternatively, you may play on a ROM emulation device (Everdrive, etc) or software emulator (Kega Fusion, etc).
Lyle in Cube Sector is a freeware metroid-esque game for the PC from 2006. It looked like an NES game before that was what all the hip kids were doing. The original game was created by Nic DeStefano (bogosoft) and is being ported to Sega hardware over a decade later by Michael Moffitt (mikejmoffitt). The original game's style suits the system perfectly, so the conversion is a near 1:1 replica of the original game. The soundtrack has been rearranged to fit on the Genesis's FM synth hardware, and the graphics are nearly indistinguishable from the original."

Wardner / Wardner no Mori Special is a platform game developed by Dragnet and released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1991.
It is based on a 1987 arcade game called Wardner no Mori in Japan and Pyros in North America, which was developed by Toaplan and published by Taito.
Columbus Circle (in a deal with Tatsujin) announced an aftermarket re-release of the game in Japan for September 2024, dropping the Special from the title and naming it as Wardner no Mori instead.

In 2022 I made Honey Soldier for the Gunner Parade game jam. It targeted modern PC and mobile platforms, but the presentation was loosely inspired by 90’s console games, without regard for their actual hardware limitations. Still, I had been Genesis-curious for some time, and two years later, I happened to notice SGDK was in version 2.00. As I looked over the many features and conveniences it offered, the idea of porting Honey Soldier began to form.

Trick Truck is inspired by a certain skateboarding game series you may have heard of, although it plays a bit differently.
You're driving the coolest and most agile box truck in town. Perform 180s, manuals, grinds, and 360s to drive your combo as high as you can and complete all objectives, but watch out! Bumping into a wall will reset your combo and you'll be left with nothing. You have to wait two seconds after your last trick for your combo to count (it also counts a combo in progress when the timer runs out).

You take control of a small ball in a level full of bombs.
The goal is to defuse the bombs in the correct order to continue to the next level.
In each level, a bomb with an active fuse will blink: that's the one you need to defuse!
Just hop onto the field with the bomb and the ball will automagically defuse it.
You will have limited time to defuse each bomb, watch its blink frequency closely!

Once planned for the Sega Dreamcast, Grand Theft Auto III was sadly never released on the console. For years, many believed it to be an impossible feat. Critics questioned the Dreamcast's capabilities, even though Rockstar ultimately shifted focus to the PS2 solely due to its overwhelming commercial success.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Gang 💪 and our visionary leader, skmp, this piece of gaming history has been rewritten! The impossible is now a reality. GTA III is finally here on the Dreamcast, restoring what should have been.
For information, all the footage you see was recorded directly from the VGA output of my Dreamcast. Real hardware, baby! 😎

Finally managed to get this version launched, it was coded in C and uses the great gbdk-2020 library. There were a few issues I found when porting from the GameBoy to the Master System. I suspect the issues were caused by me, as some function parameters take different sized data to do the same things on the Master System. So you have to double check your code, to make sure the function parameters match the system when porting from one to another. For example the GameBoy color uses 16 bit numbers for its colour palettes where as the Master system only uses 1 byte to select a colour from its colour ranges. Some other differences are in plotting tiles, as the Master System writes 2 bytes to its tile map, where as the GameBoy Color needs to write tile IDs to one TileMap and then an attribute byte to its attribute map. The Sword of Stone takes fully advantage of the Game Gear, combining pixel-art that exploits the large color palette, a memorable soundtrack and elaborated story-telling. Everything was carefully crafted over the course of a year and a half. The game offers a save feature, an in-game map and even Variable Width Font for a pleasing reading experience.
After a physical release as well as being included in all Evercade consoles, the Sword of Stone is finally available for you to enjoy on the device of your choice.
