Title: September Releases
Post by: Nathan on September 05, 2010, 01:24:08 pm
You're missing Sonic Adventure (and probably Crazy Taxi) on the front page releases section.

And if you want to add Japanese games, you're missing Black Panther and K On.

Crazy Taxi release date has not been announced, as far as I know. I will update the rest though and from now on, will add (Japan) for Japanese releases.

The Xbox Live Arcade lineup for September-October has been posted by Major Nelson a few days ago, there was no Crazy Taxi. So I think it will hit XBLA not before November.

Ah ok. Yeah I knew it hadn't been announced for September yet but I just assumed since SA and CT were announced at the same time and SA is coming this month. Plus the SEGA E3 shirts said September 2010 if I remember correctly, so I just assumed.

Hopefully they delayed it to fix the soundtrack.

I hope they did not shell out money to horrible bands to have their crappy music in the game when it supports custom soundtrack...

They could use that money on something good... like fixing the glitches in Sonic Adventure and making it widescreen.

Yeah, and I rather SEGA not waste all of their money on shitty IPs like End of Eternity and Valkyria, but we cannot always be happy! Licensing a band is not as hard or as expensive as fixing major glitches like Sonic Adventure has anyways.

They need to at least get music that fits, the one that I heard does not even begin to. Almost all of the fans are frustrated with the new soundtrack, so I assume they are trying. They could at least try to get something like the band from the PC version or something.

That will just cause fans to do this
"OH MA GAWD CAN'T BEAT LEVEL IN 5 SECONDS ANYMORE"
"CANT BE TAILS IN SONIC STAGES"
"NOT TRUE PORT"
etc

Yes, I would like it. But I can see people complaining and moaning 24/7.

Valkyria? I should ban you.

Its a lot easier for you to load the songs on NXE instead of SEGA spending money to license them. Obviously they can't afford it, every game has a budget. Its not worth it.

My point is they should get songs that fit. I do not care if whatever the name of the band was in the original game, but it fit perfectly and is iconic for the series. I can understand taking out KFC or whatever, but the music is a very large part of the experience.

And AutoSaver, I do not think that many fans would get upset over it not being a "True" port, it already is not because they are using the DX models and such. There are some very easy to fix things in the game that exist and are very well documented.

But you can get that same music, and load it yourself. Its not really a huge deal.

For Autosaver, SADX is the true game.

Also George.. Widescreen on SA over Offspring on CT? Really?

Technically, Offspring is easier to do with custom soundtracks.

Well, if they put custom soundtracks in there I'll be happy enough..
I liked that in Wipeout HD. I put all songs from Wip3out. Fun.

Custom soundtracks is pretty much given for the 360, PS3 on the other hand... not too sure. Was it possible in the PS3 version of SASASR?
