Well, okay, this is not the only way. But it is A way.

I used to love it in the arcades. When I got the Dreamcast version I learned that some games just aren't playable without a big ass driving wheel.

Lizard Tail is gonna run that fool right off the road.

He's the number one trucker in the U. S. of A., and don't you forget it!!
-
How can I ever forget it :D

So that machine is yours Barry? Nice one!
I'm comin' round your place to play that.
-
Was going to make a drinking and driving reference.

Failblog seems to think this is an arcade, but I read the image as a lucky kid who got a cabinet on the cheap without a screen and stuck a monitor in until he had the funds for a replacement. If anything this is a win.

Slightly Off-Topic - I've secretly always wanted to make some kind of big rig game. I don't know why, I just wanna. >_>
-
Well that's odd lol

I wish I knew what happened to the unit that used to be at the local movie theater :(

There's a couple of cabinets on ebay right now at just under $1000. Of course it's the shipping that's gonna kill ya if you aren't able to pick it up yourself.

Look at the reflection from the guys face. Never seen anyone that happy, ever.

So did anyone play the sequel "King of Route 66", unfortunately it never came on Dreamcast so I missed it, and I tried looking for it in America last summer couldn't find it in the local GameStops (went to atleast 10 over the course of my trip)

I've only ever seen it on eBay here.

Sega should really integrate their coin-op releases into their official websites. I don't know about Japan, but the US and EU websites have no info on arcade games at all. Especially with the success they've had with Virtual On, Outrun and After Burner, they would just be paving the way for other possible DLC releases by having a section on their websites that highlights what's going on with coin-ops.

Never played it but always wanted too.
Two other similar looking games on my DC shame list of games I've never played are Daytona and Outtrigger.
