Title: Streaming Netflix available on the PS3 and Wii in Canada now
Post by: SOUP on September 23, 2010, 10:12:30 am
It just started up yesterday. I'm pretty sure this is the first time Netflix has been available here at all.

The PS3's got a Netflix icon on the movie section of the XMB.  Seems like a pretty cool service so far. They've got a pretty good chunk of content, considering it's just started here.
They've even got Coffy :D

The PS3 (and Wii and 360) Netflix has the same amount of video content as the full online service does, only difference is that if you don't have a search function then you're limited to recommendations and whatever you've added online via your queue. It's a cool service on the 360 and is going to be even cooler once the search function hit in the next week or so! :)

Glad the PS3 is going discless, that would annoy me to have to put in a netflix disc every time :P

I've got the search function on mine.  Otherwise, it's a bit tough to track things down by category.

Yeah, I noticed the PS3 version got a search function a while back.  I think it's going discless in the U.S. next month.

Yeah, the PS3 is going discless next month due to Microsoft's contract with Netflix coming to a close.
