Title: Wacom art!
Post by: Sharky on October 08, 2010, 03:30:51 pm: So I just baught my first ever Wacom tablet and I went all out spending more money then I have ever spent on anything before.
749.99GBP. This makes me feel a little bit sick to be honest but I think it was a good investment.

I'm going to post my first ever tablet art and see how I progress.

This is the first one I ever did... mostly i was testing out the tools so there is nothing amazing going on here... But I like the little picture of the fox at the bottom.

Over all I'm really liking it... Very fun. Money probably well spent.

Post by: Barry the Nomad on October 11, 2010, 07:09:20 am: I had a sweet Wacom tablet but it isn't compatible with my new iMac. Must be wacom making their old stuff out of date so as to get me to buy a new one. I do have a massive wacom at work, stole it from my boss who never uses it.

Nice art btw! I request SEGA drawings!

Didnt put much effort into Sonic himself and it shows I think.

I generally just scan sketches in and then colour in CS4 adnd make them look more 3d with the dodge and burn tools.

Oh yeah, set the scanned layer to muliply so I can colour in the lines!

Otherwise I just mess around with photos or brushes in illustrator.
