So this is like the 'last thing you baught' thread but simply just for Sega related things. Be it games, special editions, limited editions, rares etc. Or any kind of merchandise or collectables.
Boast about your finds/buys... now!
-
Recently my girlfriend and I have baught.
-'Whats Shenmue' (factory sealed) demo disk
-Shenmue 2 complete guide (Japanese, very good condition)
-Vanquish (Xbox360)
-Sonic 4 (XBLA)
-Bayonetta Limited Edition replica 'Scarborough' Fair gun (Sealed in box)
-
-Virtua Tennis for the GBA
-Genesis fold out poster (1991)
-
My only really recent one would be Sonic 4 on the PSN
-
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 on all consoles and a Sonic Colours Poster.
-
Haven't bought anything yet. But I will buy vanquish and I might buy sonic colors
Edit: I didn't exactly what was meant with "recent", but I did get Phantasy star portable 2 this month and valkyria chronicles 2 last month.
-
Sonic 4 on x360 and iPhone.
my next purchase will either be Vanquish or Sonic Colours, unless Chu Chu rocket is out before then!
-
Yakuza 3 and Valkyria Chronicles were the last Sega things I bought.

-
Vanquish! Haven't tried it yet.
-
wait, there was a special edition of Vanquish? It never came out in Australia :(
-
I bought SONIC 4 for IPOD and X360, SONIC ADVENTURE XBLA, VANQUISH X360, Sega GT Homologation Special (japanese) for DC.
-
I bought Sonic 4 a couple of weeks ago, and I pre-ordered Sonic Colours.
-

We never get them in Amerikkkah.
-
Sonic Adventure (XBLA)
Vanquish (360)
-
Alpha Protocol, and I absolutely loved it!
-
Nice to see that people really enjoyed Alpha, the game got a lot of flack, but I thought it was really quite fun!
-
ChuChu Rocket! for IPOD and Football Manager 2011.
-
how is Chu Chu Rocket?
-
Chu Chu is good! I plan on writing a review early this week. :)

Yeah, it's good, Barry is right and I agree on its review at all points examined, particularly about game controls:Controls are surprisingly better than the Dremacast original and the GBA version
.
:)

Update on my purchases: SONIC COLOURS Wii and SONIC FREE RIDERS.
-
Sonic Free Riders here! And I reviewed it too.

Ooooooh boy! Just picked up the special edition box for Sakura Wars: So Long My Love for the PS2! Thing was $30 new at GameStop marked down from $40. Really awesome box, the art book is very nice. Now I just have to play it :)

Right there with you.

I think the last SEGA game I bought was Shining Force EXA for PS2 - the best Shining Force game I've ever played thus far. ^__^
Next, I'll be picking up Sonic Colors on Tuesday. I can't wait! <333

Sonic Colors on the DS
-
Bought an early Birthday present for myself, the SEGA Consumer History book:

Already had SEGA Arcade History, and I figured best to get the other one before the price went up anymore. :)
-
Just picked up Sonic Colours right now. Sad thing is I sold my Wii about 6 months ago... but I wanted to support sega so I'll get a Wii again soon

You are a real man.
I dont have a Wii either, borrowed one to play it.
-
Colors on both wii and ds. I feel bad that I haven't bought vanquish yet. I really want to play that game. I just got a job so I think maybe in the next few months. This was a good SEGA year quality wise. Too bad the sales have always been average to decent overall.
-
Sharky & George will be pleased to hear that I picked up Viking: Battle for Asgard. $10 at GameStop, can't wait to give it a spin.
Picked up Crazy Taxi on XBLA. I figured gameplay is great, widescreen is a plus and avatar awards are cool (CT logo shirt and Axel's Hawaiian shirt!). I threw together a CT1-3 playlist for custom soundtracks.
Stopped at the used game store and grabbed Metal Head and Moto Cross for the 32X and Bust-a-Move 4 for the Dreamcast in a buy 2 get 1 free sale.

Barry, where did you get those books? I'd never even heard of them until now.
-
I found the books via ebay's search notification system, so whenever an item containing the keywords "sega consumer history" and "sega console history" appeared, I'd get an email and jump on 'em. I think $35 is a good price per book. Any more is too much in my opinion, especially if you can't read Japanese.

The last Sega game I bought was the Wii version of Sonic Colors.

My SEGA Consumer History book arrived yesterday! I'm going to do a full feature on it and the other book over at SEGA Memories later this week, however here are a few previews via my webcam:

I went into a Game Traders store today and picked up a copy of Virtua Fighter 1 on Saturn. I already have VF 2, Kids and Fighters Megamix on teh system, so this rounds out the collection nicely (Still need remix).
Was pretty cool, although all the Mega Drive games and Dreamcast games were pretty meh, the Saturn had a decent collection. I was tempted to get Exhumed as well, but passed on it for now. Might pick it up some other time.
They also had a Game Gear for $150.
