Title: Who wants a new Robotnik VA?
Post by: cube_b3 on January 04, 2011, 07:06:51 am: I really don't like Mike Pollock, people go easy on him mainly cause Deem Bristow is dead.

The only reason fans didn't bash him as much as Griffith et al is because the previous actor died. We have a pretty solid Sonic now, I would like a better Robotnik as well.

Also it is time Tails got a more mature voice.

Especially Jason Griffith who voiced both Sonic & Shadow and recorded voices for them together, it was amazing you couldn't tell they were the same. Why did he get the boot?

(Irrelevant: Even Dan Green who is the first Knuckles I've ever heard was a fantastic Mephiles).

I thought the whole point of replacing him was to bring Drummond back, and if we are moving on then we should completely move on?

Of all the 4Kids cast I disliked Jason Griffith the least as he actually sound almost exactly like Drummond.

Irrelevant: the worst 3 4Kids actors
2: Robotnik
1: It is hard to choose between these 2 crappy voices Knuckles/Tails.

I still hate the tails voice, not the acting THE VOICE. Same problem with Bristow, I think he was terrific in Sonic 06 but his voice... doesn't sound nice to my years, he just doesn't sound like Robotnik to me.

It's like the dude tried to do Ryan Drummond but decided to remove any trace of attitude and do a "for the kids!!!" voice. Hated it. Only in Sonic Unleashed/Black Knight did I think Griffith actually SORT of got the character down.

As for Eggman, .....eh. Pollack's not exactly my favorite but people seem to like him so I say keep him, why not. Bristow was THE perfect Eggman, but he is dead so there's not much we can do about that.

Tails voice is also the best it has been since Sonic Adventure too.

Looking forward to hearing the new Knuckles and Amy.

I heard them in Sonic Free Riders, they sound good!

Get a Modern Steampunk Youngster Robotnik in the new games.
Loose the "eggman" (where the hell did that name come from anyways). and throw in a skinny evil guy.
