I personally want him to grow a set of post puberty vocal cords, but I'm not sure every one would want that so this is my nomination

Yes, he is from the Back to the Future game, but he is awesome and can work with the character, I like him.

Fans of the new Tails VA shouldn't worry we'll keep her around as Amy, i've heard her voice reel and she had a Amyesque voice acting reel in it, she will make a perfect Amy.

Eitherway I agree with you, and I think this VA would do the job.

Tails is eight and they will never make him age, unless they have some kind of stupid future story.
The current one is fine and I think he sounds plenty like a boy. They cannot really get a real boy to do the voice, as they would only be able to use him for a few years if even that, not to mention child actors are LOL worthy usually.

Tails also matured as a character as his duties as a side kick ended with Sonic Adventure, where he went toe to toe with Robotnik and defeated him alone.
In Sonic Adventure 2 he only tailed Sonic in one scene, other wise he was on his own quest, 'busting Sonic out of a maximum security prison' in Sonic 06 he had no role but neither did Knuckles, Rogue, Blaze etc.
With Sonic Unleashed they decided to undo everything and make them kiddy characters all over again.

I like how they made tails. He was a geek ever since sonic adventure 2 with no flaws in his character. In previous outings(before sonic adventure 2) tails was the technical guy, but he was also clumsy and looked and looked at sonic as an example. He was cute and shy.
I think when their talking about character development, sonic colors is the first example to convince me that that is a good thing. Tails may be smart but he's not einstein, he can make mistakes and comes of clumsy sometimes in sonic colors as well. The way sonic and tails interact is also a great thing about sonic colors.

Tara Strong would probably do a good Tails, she knows how to voice male characters that actually sound like male characters. I haven't liked a Tails voice since the original kid who voiced him in SA1 and SA2.

Did you ever notice the script was sloppy?
Like if you play Tails' story, after the Tornado 2 part he mentions that they have to find Amy...
He wouldn't of known she was kidnapped yet cause he was busy looking for a Chao Emerald!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whether it is Sonic Adventure 1 or 2 or even Yakuza all games are full of plot holes, what the writers hope is to have you so immersed in the action that you don't notice them.
I was immersed enough not to notice I also don't take inconsistencies in Sonic as seriously as I would in LOST (tv show) or Yakuza.

This is also possible in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the first game he was in. Also the stories in Sonic games suck, so you are thinking too much.
Not sure why you want his voice to sound older when they are just making characters more independent.
In my opinion, with Sonic Adventure they were trying to make all of the characters more independent because they wanted to branch out with spinoffs, like what Mario does with Yoshi, Wario, even Luigi and Peach games now. However, shit happened and they had to scale back their projects and plan them for multiple platforms.

What plot holes are in Yakuza games, and where do you get off saying every game ever made has plot holes in it? That is one of the most ignorant things I have ever read on this site, and there have been a lot.

It is sloppy but then again, you can just assume that they discussed it on the way over there.
If you want sloppy, watch the scene when Sonic's running towards Gamma and Amy jumps in the way.
