The Genesis and Master System games are pretty easy to get ahold of. I'd rather see some Saturn games get released like this.
Can't you already get a bunch of Genesis titles on XBLA. Not even counting Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

Yeah, those older titles would fall under the banner too. I think the positive is that with a service like this, SEGA would have to release a steady stream of rereleases to keep atop the release list. As it's a defined sub-category rather than discount Genesis games falling into the pool of XBLA titles.

I agree, Saturn games rather than more Genny/Master System titles, however I welcome any online multiplayer Genesis/Master System games. Online 2 player co-op for TJ&E would be great.

I rather arcade games more than any of their console releases from any generation. Something like Golden Axe: Revenge of Death=Adder makes so much sense, but I always wanted to play stuff like SEGA Water Ski. SIDEROLL 360 YEAH!

^Ah Snaus, you see that would require actual effort and staff that still gives a fuck about their work. Get ready for another stack of easy to copy/paste Mega-Drive ROMS that everyone already has or doesn't care about anymore.

With bad netcode and poor sound emulation.

Well, I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather pay 2 dollars for a PC port of a Genesis game, rather than browsing around for the actual Genesis roms that these days are found on questionable websites, which are loaded with trojans and worms.

Hey now, let's not be name calling. max has the right to not download seedy files hosted on pages filled with banners advertising "Dutch Girls Must Be Punished". Doesn't make him a pussy, it makes him a wise computer user.

I personally downloaded a full Mega Drive/Genesis library, thing wasn't wormy or anything. Now I can play Shaq Fu on my mac!

Name calling and viruses aside, I think the fact that SEGA have actually endoresed handheld Megadrive clones which allow you to load roms onto SD cards in a way illustrates that they actually don't mind emulation of Megadrive games, as they are even profiting from it themselves...

Well, there was talk of something called the firecore cartridge that would take SD cards, but it has yet to be released. I'm guessing SEGA didn't give the go ahead.
