From what I've read, Grandia II is an incredible improvement over the first one. And you don't need to know the first one's story to enjoy it.

I'm just so sad that when university kicked in I stopped playing it, and now I fear I might get all sorts of confused when I go back to it.

That happens to me all the time :P and I still have the stupid habit to not finish some games that I'm enjoying, I don't know why. For example, I never got to finish Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS), but I was freakin' loving the game.

I think some games just drag on too long for their own good. Especially when you are a perfectionist x.X

I've played a huge chunk of Anarchy Reigns today.
So far, I'm in the "It's a good game" camp, so on occassion, I've seen some issues here and there...

But Saint's Row 2 is the one that has caught my attention. It's the loudest and dumbest sandbox game I've ever played. Red Dead Redemption runs circles around this game from THQ, but as a whole I prefer spending time with this one, because it's so much fun.

Presentation-wise, the game's all over the place, it might pass off as good very lookin' Playstation 2 game in high-res, there are a ton of bizarre glitches and massive slowdowns. Sometimes the audio fizzles out, other times, there are a few fingernail pulling moments that I don't understand how or why something went wrong.

But, to it's credit, the game is very satisfying, you are constantely rewarded by something missions and various odd jobs. You can spray sewage all over expensive condos, fake accidents to commit insurance fraud, cause mayhem, take hits on people, boost cars and at the same time hijack vehicles and take hostages.

You can buy luxury apartments, buy out stores so they can pay you protection money, stock up on junk food,etc,etc,etc...

Saint's Row 2 is trully the definition of Guilty Pleasure.

Playing Disgaea 3 for the 1000th time as I found a certain map hard.

Got past it now thanks to a guide, so now I will be hopefully progressing more into the game.
Big fan of Claymore, Miria in particular.

Currently playing Yakuza 0.

Just finished Anarchy Reigns, namely the single player mode. Ya know, I wasn't too crazy over the Story Mode but it actually won me back. I enjoyed it a lot. Jack's story is a bit looser, Leo's side of the story is much, much more focused and I think it has the best overall FREE missions.

Not to say that Jack doesn't have it's moments, the kart racing mission, for one. But Leo overall, has the best story.

Been playing some F-Zero GX lately and that game despite its age and the hardware it's on, is a complete mind warp...

Other than that, I hooked up my old N64 and reliving Bad Fur Day.
I despise ignorant fanboys. Enjoy the great games on all systems or platforms. There is no reason for blind hate...

I'm almost done with Saint's Row 2. All that's left is the final game mission. I'm doing a bunch of side quests.

Pretty much.

There are many side missions that are a lot of fun! In Saint's Row 2, you have side missions
where:

-You play as a bodyguard and have to manhandle people who want to annoy celebrities;
-You fake accidents in order to commit insurance fraud (my favorite);
-Play as a cop and do a parody of the TV show Cops;
-Cause mayhem, basically you have to go to an designated area and destroy as much property as possible;
-Run around naked and shock people;
-Have a sewer truck hurl trash into buildings, people and cars;
-Escort prostitutes and help them pick up customers;
-Take hits on certain people and make it look like an accident;
-There are Chop Shops that pay you to boost a certain brand of cars;

It's so much fun!

And there's a lot of it;

Saints Row 2 was my favorite Saints Row game. Saints Row The Third and Saints Row were cool, but Saints Row 2 was better than them.

I'm currently playing... Halo 4 and Black Ops 2.... I should probably go clear out my backlog of games.

And I'm done with Saint's Row 2!

I finished the last mission and saw the ending credits. The game is a lot of fun. Now there's one major issue that I would like to point out: It is buggy as hell!

I've had game freezes, audio skips, texture pop-in,some insame clipping issues (where I had sign posts and people that merged with my car) and broken physics.

Apparentely, nobody's been playin' for quite some time now...

So, I'll chime in...

Sleeping Dogs

I started playin' it as soon as I was done with Rayman Origins and Saint's Row 2. Just finished and I'm typing this as the credits are rolling.
Once in a while comes a game that manages to surprise, it might not be the best looking game, it might not have the best combat, nor the best driving, nor the best shooting mechanics, but together produce a complete experience that's well worth the time and money.

This is one of those mid-range game(ie games that score between the 6-8 mark) that somehow manage to be more enjoyable than most of the Triple AAA titles, Saint's Row 2 is prime example of that. Sleeping Dogs has a fun plot (some odd bits here and there), great side missions, very good looking girls to meet, the combat to me is the most satisfying element in the entire game. I did not care for the whole gunplay experience, it was just been there, done that. I would've been content if the rest of the game had simply been just straight up kung fu fighting.

I had fun hacking cameras, locating these random lockboxes that give me money and secret outfits, karoke, fine dining, buying clothes and items for each of my 4 apartments (they never explained how or why Shen starts sleeping in a new apartment everytime there's a major plot development).

I was playing Luigi's Mansion 2 but I've since beaten it.

King Boo has a MUCH better plan then Bowser could only dream of. He even managed to do something a Mario game never shows (I won't spoil it), but the tactics involved beating him are much more clever then the bowser fights.
