I probably put more time into XIII-2 after I beat the story. The monster training aspect is pretty deep.

I beat Wonder Boy in Monster World yesterday, and played through the entirety of inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood.
Festival of Blood was a lot more fun than I was expecting. The vampire powers were really well done. The ability to turn into bats and fly around the city at super speed was awesome :D.

Played a few rounds of good ol' Urban Terror.

And then resumed Final Fantasy XIII-2. After a slow start I gotta say, I've warmed up to it. While I feel very much that it's the equivalent to a direct-to-video, the tweaks they did are just right. The use of each monster with their unique abilities in battle allow for some great flexbility. Really loved how they simplified the Crystarium. As of right now,
I've beaten that giant flan and a bandana-less Snow simply vanished into thin air. Still going to a lot of places and so far, it's been raising questions after questions. Like:
-What exactly happened to Noel's people?
-What will Serah getting to her sister accomplish?
-Who exactly is Caius and his sidekick Yeul?
-What exactly is this whole plot with this Goddess?
-What's up with the invisible creature at the Collosseum? Why does he look like Atlas?
-What's up with these weird ??? AF locations? Is it the future?
Lots of cool stuff. Should there be another FF game, I hope it follows this trend.

@Max_cady:
Pretty much all of those questions get answered. If you're enjoying it so far, I'm sure you'll be happy with the overall game :)

I am. To be sure.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is far more enjoyable than it's predecessor. Everytime I get back in, I feel like 2 long hours well spent.

Slowly playing through Binary Domain, and I'm in no rush to finish. I like picking it up once a week for an hour of play. Lets me enjoy the game for a longer amount of time.

Also just got the Dreamcast indie game GunLord so I'll be playing that over the holiday weekend.

Right now, I'm suffering through Evil Dead for the Dreamcast....

This is FUCKING painful. Why have I held onto it for all these years?

That sucks dude. Is Bruce Campbell at least lending his voice?

I was playing The Grinch for the Dreamcast and Space Ghost being the narrator made it MUCh more fun. It's actually a decent platformer, but its totally PS1 quality in terms of everything.

OH, GOD! My braind locked that game away for years now. It was arguably one of the worst Dreamcast games on the system. It's right up there with Fighting Force II and Soul Fighter.

On-topic, Final Fantasy XIII-2, right now. Doing a few side-missions. One of 'em in particular is a pretty difficult boss battle.

There are probably a few of them that you won't be able to do until a good while after you beat the main game level-wise.

And I beat of 'em today! Yoohoo! Wasnt's as cheap as I though. But there's one on the Ruins that's super-duper cheap, though.

With all the recent NiGHTS news, I tried to get back into NiGHTS Journey of Dreams for the Wii and... I just couldn't do it. The cutscenes are too long, the fact that you get booted back to the hub after each mission is annoying and they took out the basic way you play NiGHTS. The stages are beautiful, and the bosses are great, but I don't want to chase down keys. I want to play NiGHTS as its meant to be played. Some of the missions are pretty fun, and I love the gimmicks.

This game would have been saved if:
• you could skip cutscenes
• there was an arcade mode, where you play each stage with the classic rules
• you didn't get kicked back to the hub after each mission

I finally arrived at Final Fantasy XIII-2's final chapter in the game.

I'm gonna do a couple of extra side missions on the side, just to be on the safe side. I hear that the final boss is a pain in the butt.
