Knuckles TV series did feel unpolished and was mostly concentrating on characters other than Knuckles. I doubt Golden Axe TV series will make that mistake.
May be the limitation of budget for CGI are the reason why they're mostly concentrating on characters other than Knuckles.
Cartoon and animated series wouldn't have that problem.

You have to include Shadow in the name. The game was the main title for "The Year of the Shadow" and also made to promote Shadow to promote the third movie.
