Fireworks are awesome IF you're close to where they're letting them off. Close enough to have the light fill the sky above you, the wooosh and bang ringing in your ears and feel the air quake around you... Which was the case for me tonight, it reinvigorated my respect for them...

From a 'safe distance' is boring though I agree.

Well, we played bingo for three hours, drank a lotta apple cider, watched silly YT videos and I cut myself by accident by breaking a glass of champagne. On a much nicer note, I think I may have found someone special in my life (ie potential girlfriend, which is something so weird to write down on a message board). Crappy weather aside, January is off to a good start.

My pet Black Bird 'Jerk-Bird' died today... I found him a decade ago, when he was still pink and featherless, he had fallen from his nest onto the road. I took him home, hand fed him worms and he lived in a cage I built for him. I was the first one to pick him up and 10 years later he died in my hands. I'm not sad or anything, it was good to give him a life.

Yeah tell me about it, the other day I woke up in the middle of the night with a panic attack. I literally thought I was going to die then I sat up and was like "wait.... whut" didn't even know where that came from.

Your brain probably just thought of something insignificant to worry about in your sleep. It's horrible when that happens as you can't get back to sleep till you've calmed yourself down. I've just had the same thing happen to me oddly enough.

The sad thing is, I know exactly why my brain did it and it does concern me...I'm just not sure how to fix it at the moment. :(

My grandma's crappy notebook (a Toshiba NB200 laptop) just got Black Screen of Death immediately after upgrading to windows 10. Dropping so many F-bombs right now!
