Yeah, it definately got a huge bump today. I guess there are a lot o people who were sitting on the fence 'n' have decided to make their move.


Shenmue also got a couple of mentions today, namely on Eurogamer.net. These articles help get some much needed traction.

I think we will make $5 million tonight.

I just made a new account and pledged $8 on a maxed out card. As soon as my brother is awake in Australia, he will be getting $60 from me to pledge in his name.

They've overdone the glow/shine, and the camerawork was pretty poor... But yeah, WIP.  I hope that wasn't the bomb Cedric Biscay has been teasing.

I like how you can tell the models and animation have improved a good deal since the reveal trailer. I can only see this looking better and better as development goes on. I'm pretty sure the glow is entirely intentional.


It's difficult to get extremely ecstatic about this, but it IS only a five million dollar game who's full development has not yet started.

I was thinking 7 to 7.5 million since a week and some ago. But now I think it may end up at 6 with the way its trending. Well this is just going with data, but it could be better or worse depending on the actual interest of which this one has been really hard to guess

I wouldn't be too worried, Ryan. This is a Shenmue II scene that was recreated with still no actual budget. If this is $0 Shenmue III, can you imagine $5 million Shenmue III?
