I still can't believe Yu Suzuki is actually doing this. Even with Sega, no new gamers would know about Shenmue.

A couple of new interviews with Yu Suzuki... it's mostly about development and clarification of some of the stretch goals (explanation of the meaning of AI Battling, Ragdoll Reaction and High Ground Battle System). Finally got some new screenshots! imo, even at this state, the game looks really good, I'm so in love with the environments. The lighting looks really good (as to be expected from a Shenmue game) and overall I'm happy to see some definite progress! You don't usually get a batch of screenshots three months into development anymore.

Anyway, Is 2017 the release date? I'm kind of excited about the game. Also, will it be released on PC?

The combat system that Yu Suzuki is going for seems something similar to the Arkham Batman games, except not shit, I hope he gets enough funding to get all of those concepts in.

They said they're looking into it, but as they're dealing with Sony, I'd say it's unlikely personally.

Ys Net and Shibuya Productions with kickstarter are making it. SEGA just gave Yu the nod to make it.

Sony are just helping market it.

Bayonetta, Shenmue 3, Valkyria on PS4 are Sega's best resort for high selling games nowadays imo.
