Huh I did not know that.

Still working on my collage and I still have three slots left of Smash Bros. characters to compare to Sega All-Stars and I figured Fire Emblem was my best bet.

Yeah, Fire Emblem became popular after Melee, which is what caused Nintendo to start bringing Fire Emblem games West.
Before Meele, Shining Force's still more popular franchise than Fire Emblem even for western Nintendo fans.
Sadly that's not the case anymore.

Damn... so Shining had a market over here but the thunder was taken from them by Fire Emblem not long after Melee?

Can't really blame them. Melee was such a big hit.

Yeah... just wish I was less nostalgic and depressed over the fact Sega just no longer on parr with Nintendo as they used to.
Having one dominant market left over until Fire Emblem got over here.

Happy 30th anniversary for Media Vision!

Quote
"On March 1, 2023, Media Vision celebrated its 30th anniversary.
There were times when it was fun and times when it was difficult, but I believe that we are here today because we never stopped making games, and because everyone came across and loved our titles.
With gratitude for the trajectory and miracles for 30 years.
Thank you!!"

A new print of "Altina" from SHINING series by Tony Taka revealed

Quote
This illustration was originally an embarrassed face of Altina, but Tony-sensei redrawn her expression to match the printmaking, making it a very special one.
"Altina doesn't often have a smiling face, so I think a smiling face like this is very rare and valuable."
