The Flash (Comic) introduces Krakkl, a Sonic-inspired character

Quote
Besides his incredible speed, Krakkl has shades of blue on his body and even has Sonic-like spikey tails for hair.
Sonic the Hedgehog is one of gaming's most recognizable and popular characters.
Add to this Sonic's super-speed, and there's no wonder why a version of him pops up in a Flash comic.

Rouge the Bat Just Came Up With a FLAWLESS Codename

Quote
While there are many things about Rouge that remain a mystery, it is clear that she has a lot of depth.
She is smart, flirtatious, well-spoken, and cunning. One well-known facet of Rouge is her passion for jewels.

Yes, they are from same race, had similar appearance. Different color may be, kinda unsure about that.

The Kwyzz are a confusing lot. Did DC confirm that he was based on Sonic?

No, DC never mentioned anything about Sonic.
Avoiding copyright and trademark thing I guess.

So he might not be based on Sonic? I just trhink that it might be likely he isn't. I mean sure he roughly has the shape and assosiated with a speedster but I think I need more confirmation.

It could be the writer didn't based him off Sonic.
But the illustrator certainly was.
The eyes and the mouth were very Sonic-like.

Sonic, Amy, and Tails are Trapped in Eggman's Version of Battleworld

Quote
Eggman's manipulation of physics, to the point of creating entirely new and completely different places within a single tower, feels like Dr. Doom's Battleworld from Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars series by Jonathan Hickman, Esad Ribić and Ive Svorcina.
Whilst Sonic's world has always been a varied one, it still had a scale of change similar to our own Earth, nothing quite as patchwork as Battleworld.

Though the two are practically brothers, Sonic broke the first rule of brotherhood.
